Really hope he gets to leave in January. Rotting behind Kone as he passes the ball 5 yds to an opponent must be terrible for a player's confidence. Hopefully he doesn't go to a mediocrity rival of ours with a point to prove.

Why hope he leaves at all then?

I'd much rather have him on our books unless we used any money to get a very decent replacement (which is dubious)

I don't see the clamour for him to leave though mate, is all, just for the sake of it.

If we got decent money and got a replacement in, then it's fine. But if not, what's the rush in selling this window?

I reckon the original post was more thinking of Mirallas himself.

Must be heartbreaking seeing Kone get on ahead of him every time.

I agree, and he should be getting more game time as he offers a lot more than Kone does. Thought he could have been a real threat on the break for us last night in the last 20 minutes or so.

I'm half and half on last night. We were clearly settling for a point so anything attacking would have been against that. I just can't see what Kone is offering at either end at the mo!

more so when it's pienaar and osman!

Thw whole situation i just don't understand. he is an international player who makes the squad and yet he is sat on our bench with the tag line 'isn't leaving this window'. then 'new contract' and now its back to 'not looking to sell'.

Makes me wonder his character as surely he should be making noises to the tune of a come and get me to any interested clubs? I mean his agent could be doing that for him, just anything to get him back onto the pitch.
