I like Kev and wish he'd start more. I was calling for him to be brought on for Cleverley at about 65 minutes because it seemed clear to me that we needed some pace down on the left to try and push them back a bit.

But to say he came on and 'controlled the game' is a bit much.

Yep could have been.

I said Cleverley mainly cos it would have been a bit more 'like for like' in terms of the position.

But yeh it didn't matter in the end as in fairness around the 70th we just clicked up a gear again and then got the goal.

First contribution yesterday was to bottle a fifty fifty challenge in our half. Niasse clattered one of their defenders.
Then Kev thumps a terrible shot into the stands with better options all around him. Niasse makes great defensive header.
I'm sure he's frustrated but maybe a reaction would be to show he can help Rom, Ross and others around him play. There's talent there but not as much as Ross or Del and nowhere near as much as he believes. He's fifth choice for me out wide now and that's about right. Maybe if some of our fans gave the same level of support Kev gets to players keeping him out the atmosphere would be better and he may work to get in rather than think he's entitled.
