Did exactly what was needed at that stage of the match. Ran simple runs for players to find, and looked after the ball well. Does things at pace too which we badly lacked today.

I think Martinez has convinced Mirallas to stay at Everton by letting play in his preferred position, it just meant giving lennon and gerrard space to compete and perhaps give Barkley some competition, did you see he how assured he was on and off the ball in a position we rarely see him in, plus some really concise linking up with oumar, interesting probably makes more sense why he is not making any kind of fuss in the media...

I like Kev and wish he'd start more. I was calling for him to be brought on for Cleverley at about 65 minutes because it seemed clear to me that we needed some pace down on the left to try and push them back a bit.
But to say he came on and 'controlled the game' is a bit much.
