I reckon the situation dictates the decisions. Villa is rubbish...play two out and out wingers...almost a 4-3-3.

Rom is not getting help...needs support. Bring on a striker who is best when he's supporting.

Good opponent...go with a more conservative defensive minded left side with Clev who offers Pienaaresque ability going forward.

The logic is really not hard to work out.

You mention logic and then you suggest Kone "supports the striker".

I mean, LOL.

Be interested to see a stat of how many minutes he and Del have spent on a the pitch at the same time.

Doubt it'll be much over triple figures.

I guess you don't watch football afterall.

This is my view of football.

Those are green numbers mate...from a decent movie. That is not football. Nor is it anywhere near the strategy that is being employed with the selections.

Too many just can't wrap their brain around it. Thought you could see the forest for the trees. They say he is stubborn...yet he changes shiz all the time. They say he is clueless...yet there is logic to every choice.

There is a growing voice who simply will find negativity in every decision...when there is logic to explain.

Sad days with the fans and the manager.

Lost me here. T-Clev is Mr Ish. He's decent all round but doesn't excel at anything. Pienaar (when 100%) excels at close control, dribbling, drawing fouls and linking up with Baines.

I can understand T-Clev purely being played on a graft stand point but Kev makes me sex wee. He's arrogant, confident and skillful and has stats (when actually played) to back it all up. I like it when a team can't just shut up shop one side and lol all day while we lack anything resembling ideas.

Kone is a joke as he offers nothing. Wanders around and goes to stand by Rom. If the ball can't make it down the right wing we're boned as he's a chocolate fireguard and should be punted to the moon by Farhad.

Not many.

Manager doesnt trust a 3 of Deulofeu Barkley Mirallas to do its defensive duties.

He only played because Clev was ill, that was Roberto's post match comment. Bit disappointing really, don't think he's likely to start unless there is an injury.

I really don't get all this nonsense about a bad attitude. He's spent long periods of this season unfairly on the bench. When he got a chance against Chelsea he took it, he got injured and was benched again. He took his chance again last night but I think that he'll be benched in favour of the Clev against West Ham.
