Kevin Mirallas

The way to do it is to be snide but clever enough about it to not get booked. Naismith's the perfect example.

This is a good point. When Suarez snided Mirallas in 12/13 he did it while appearing to face the other way, innocuous to most, and went unpunished. When Mirallas returned the favour the following season he went in knee-high and studs up in front of the ref and was fortunate to only be booked. And on Saturday he drove his studs down on a player standing two feet from the assistant ref.

It's one thing to be a snide, but when you're crap at hiding it you're just a bellend.

i like kev - think he has alot of skill. but i think there is a clear attitude issue with him. what he did at the end of the game is inexcusable and probably a strong indication of his personality and why he hasn't been seeing alot of time lately. we need smart, team players...not hotheads that only want to make sure they are taken care of. his penalty kick from last year was a huge red flag for me.

nuff said. Play him Martinez.

Funny thing is mate, if in the summer we would have been linked with someone with a youtube montage for last season like that everyone would have been wetting themselves about the prospect of getting him, need to actually start him and see if he can reproduce the form he is capable off, or admit he isn't in the managers real first team plans and offload him in January, atm we are kinda doing neither of those and it's a waste

Guys a superb player, needs game time.. To not play him is a massively waste.

Big fan of him and want him to succeed just get the feeling Martinez has never been on the same page as him since the penalty incident last season, strained relationship clearly

Possibly lost out this season a lot due to Baines injury - playing lb's with no experience Martinez has gone for a safer option to help them out i reckon, at least someone who will harry down that side which Mirallas is poor at

it was a terrible tackle, he went over the ball and stamped on his ankle. this isnt the first time hes done this aswell. he is very frustrated at the minute but he nneds to do what gerri has been doing, getting his head down and taking each chance when hes given it. hes now suspended for 3 games! wont suprise me if we only signed him on a 3 year deal to sell him in January for a decent fee rather him go for free at the end of the year.

we had the option to extend his deal by one year already written into his prior contract mate, so what your saying really makes zero sense whatsoever, we would have just activated the extension and not gone through the rigmarole of new negotiations

hes wanted a move to a different club for a while now. there could be an increase on his wage plus a reasonable buy out clause in the new contract. its purely guessing, however what is a fact is that every time he goes on internation duty he says about playing champions league and other teams interested in him etc. i cannot see him staying at everton past January. he is behind Kone, Lennon and Gerri and i cant see that changing with his attitude. did you see him when we scored our third against chelsea? didnt even smile when everyone else was jumping about

Strange he left a CL club to come to us,allegedly preferring EFC to another CL club (Arsenal?)

The lad wants to play and was frustrated and demonstrated it in the wrong way. Not the end of the world.

Would've liked to have seen him start against Reading with a view to him getting a role in the derby but that's life. We have cover.
