Kevin Mirallas

He's not done anything that Lukaku hasn't done. I'd keep him. He's a goalscorer, and there is no chance the current occupier of the left wing berth will be fit all season. Or Deulofeu for that matter, he will soon be on the wrong end of a reducer.

dont forget Cleverley was clearly signed for that wide left position - he's clearly not here to replace Barry or Mccarthy so when he's fit I'd expect to see him in there. I don't want to sell Mirallas but maybe he is a bad influence?

Not that I'm saying sell him, I'd actually play him every game, but it depends what he's like in the dressing room

Not watched this Xmas video thing. I presume Martinez comes on to explain how he's got a massive role in it, but then inexplicably you don't see him until 2 minutes before the end when he strolls around in the background looking frustrated?

Heitinga was signed as a right back, Jags was signed as a holding midfielder, Naismith was signed as a, Erm.. Anyway, Cleverley for me, is a central player.

What absolute hogwash.

Once again I refer you to his actual words

I'll also point out that he signed a new contract last summer, why would he be "agitating" for a move when all he had to do was run his deal down and therefore have more suitors and more money on the table.

Lets not let actual facts get in the way of your agenda driven supposition though.

AS for taking anything approaching £5m for him in this day and age just shows where you're coming from in all of this.

Dave's clearly made his mind up already on Mirallas and is taking every opportunity to push his agenda as he leads his plot to force one of our best attacking players out of the club.

No doubt he's also lining him up as being a bad egg in the dressing room so he can use that as an excuse if we hit some bad form through the winter when we have to play more than 1 game a week.

Erm, I think you left out this quote from the same interview...

“But in January, if my situation has not changed, I will ask questions and perhaps consider a departure.”

Look, the feller has history doing this since he's been here. I make it about 4 times he's "been mistranslated" in the English media concerning his intentions. The feller is a serial moaner who cant fit in. That's fine. He's scored a few and laid on a few in his time. But he's not in good enough form (or appropriate in my opinion) for a starting spot in this Everton team, so we should let him fulfil his longstanding wish to leave the club. Hopefully we can get a decent fee for him. Although that might be a problem, as no club has seemed to want to cough up decent cash for him so far. I wonder why?

He seems a happy (most training pics show him smiling/laughing) and popular member of the squad, getting on particularly well with Lukaku, Kone and Deulofeu.

Yes he moans in the press about game time and playing for a CL club but you appear to be trying to equate this into him being in some way a disruptive influence in the dressing room which is a bit bizarre tbh. Would imagine that most of the squad don't even read his commenta in the press let alone pay much attention to it.

He's disruptive for the club. No doubt most of the players will tolerate him, even though they know he should be doing like them and knuckling down to fight for their place.

Mind you, he's done it that often now that maybe the situation is that all the players and coaching staff just roll their eyes, smile and say "Kev's off on one again", and it has no impact. That wouldn't surprise me, tbh.

Again you're ignoring his actual words talking in absolutes

“But in January, if my situation has not changed, I will ask questions and perhaps consider a departure.”

“I want to first of all be playing at my club,” he said. “I’m not asking for a transfer. I still have the prospect of staying at Everton.

“Game time comes gradually. I am a team player and I want to prove it.

You're also ignoring the fact he signed a new deal which would be incredibly stupid if it was "is longstanding wish to leave the club"

Think it far more likely to be the latter scenario.

Bit like you when you start moaning about the board Dave x

This Everton team is ninth and the one last season 12th. I don't know where this notion that we've got a great team and there's no room for Mirallas comes from. No player in the starting 11 except perhaps Stones and Lukaku are 'vital' to this side.

Mirallas is not a bad egg, why would the club have offered him a new contract if he was? He's a very talented attacking player who is being mis managed as Martinez prefers formations with at most one winger and often none at all.

If you're saying that there's no space anywhere across our front four for Kevin Mirallas because it's packed with vital players I don't agree with you. The league table for the last 18 months would suggest none of them should be immovable.

One player signs a new contract whilst one slaps in a transfer request.

Mirallas is the disruptive one, but Stones can do no wrong.

Martinez rates one player but has frozen out the other. Therefore to keep up his illusion of Martinez's infallibility Davek has now had to argue that Naismith and Kone are better than Mirallas.

Not for me. I called Stones on that too.

It's simple really: anyone who thinks they can do better or would rather be elsewhere - great. See ya. No place for anyone who doesn't want to pull a blue jersey on or anyone thinks they have a right to it (and if they dont get it they'll agitate for a move).
