What is it you hate about Kone?

We've got two players there who are looking sharp, it's how we accommodate both of them. I freely admit Kone's proved me wrong this season, last season it was looking as though his injury had finished him as a Premier League player.

Even our golden haired leviathan, in his tender years and after a crippling injury, has learned the Martinez way. Plus, Kone doesn't go grabbing away penalties from his teammates like a little woman.

I think he's the finished article in that sense - talented individual who's not quite as interested in teamwork as he needs to be in this system. It's a shame because on the odd occasion he looks up he's shown he can pick a pass, but I don't see much changing for him now. Good squad player and potential impact sub, which says something positive about how we've come along over the last couple of months.

Looked sharp yesterday. Provided attacking width, directness and a significant upturn on the quality of dead ball deliveries. He just needs game time to really lock in with the rhythm and flow of our boss attacking passing game and to find some coolness in and around the box. Kev will come good.
