Not a surprise at all. Every manager that's come in has clearly bought certain players that they wanted.

Then mosh signing players he wanted. Its why some of the stuff levelled at Brands is ludicrous. Because he was undermined repeatedly.

Oh she would have undoubtedly wanted to stay in post if possible, provided the hatred died down and we stayed up. The cache of saying you are CEO of a PL team must be massive poolside at Centre Parcs. Would be addictive.

I do think some mainstream charity (oblivious of the utter state of this club) would put her straight on the board as some made up “strategy and vision advisor”. But that would be a 75% pay cut and relative anonymity.

Her main problem was that the first 14 minutes of her own operational review highlighted that she did absolutely nothing, aside from disrupt the coaching of our elite youngsters, and they’d used her office to store the paperwork supporting all of the “Miscellaneous Covid related losses” and she hadn’t noticed because she was never there.

I think the quality of player is relevant in the 2 cases you've mentioned though, and they are so far apart in class as to make comparisons utterly irrelevant.

The Rondon signing clearly did massive damage, while James did not.
