Wasn't that hard to see either. We had one goalscorer we could rely on and decided to replace him with midfielders and proven PL failures like Mcneil and Maupay.

We didn't have the squad to avoid a relegation battle and I said from day 1 that 17th and above was acceptable.

19th is not acceptable though and that's why Lampard and Thelwell should go
