How on earth the former heavyweight from Preston and Derby and New York Rovers was given the keys to the kingdom here (well, as much as any DOF is) and had months between the close of the summer window and start of the winter window to line up deals and has managed to do NOTHING is beyond staggering.
This utter nomark could well be one of the worst appointments in the history of this club.

It is unfair to use him/the recruitment lot as scapegoats in that sense because Bill, the ceo and owner are absolutely the ultimate issues. They make the final calls and that’s what’s wrong with this club

I know we're looking for scapegoats at the moment, but when a DoF does not sign any players through an entire transfer window, i'm not looking at him, i'm looking at the boardroom.

Shambolic..A truly great club steeped in history becoming the laughing stock of the premiership..A joke of a leadership team with no idea..pathetic how other clubs show ambition to lift their sides when the supposed leaders of EFC cannot attract or show the desire to get signings..A once great people's club now disappearing into the lower leagues with a whimper..Following Everton for over 50 years and have never seen it this bad. Gutted for the blues, no plan, no strategy, no leadership, people in jobs where they are totally incompetent..Not had a decent proper striker since Lukaku, could be a long time before we get another unless we change the people running the club..really sad day in the history of EFC..

As I've posted before read an agent weeks ago saying the worst club to deal with is Everton , said he has to go through 3 different people to get an agreement , then it has to go back & be signed off by the same 3 different people.
It's a real mess , has been for years.
