Hahahahaha I literally posted that meme and then in the very next post you’ve basically recreated it but seemingly being serious.

He hasnt really put a foot wrong, but some dont understand the monumental task he has, Jan window he got spot on, no more deadwood added. Everton is not an attractive destination, so the standard he got in the summer was about right for were we find ourselves thanks to Brands and Walsh

The usual suspects too

So is Dyche, nailed on a few are waiting for a loss to jump on him for it

I was saying it during the window, no deadwood, is was vital, people moan about McNeil and Maupay but wanted us to add more players of similar standard for the sake of spending, Kev knows better

Except it wasn’t “for the sake of spending” was it, it was because we have absolutely glaring holes all over the squad and also sold an attacking player???

I thought the deal for sarr from watford was a £2m loan with an obligation to buy in the summer for £30m. That doesnt sound like a club with £40m burning a hole in its pocket but does sound like in the summer the profit loss ffp stuff wont be as strict. I cant really say if thelwell is good bad or average at his job coz hes only been here 2 minutes. Personally i think the problems are above him at the club. I think our league position and the problems which have kicked off with the board didnt help either and it looks like the perception of the club in the football world at the minute is they wouldnt touch us with a barge pole. The only way to get rid of this perception is to stay up and get rid of the embarrassments in the boardroom.

Tbf I’m not hugely surprised no one wanted to sign for us.
There’s an argument for a loan or two (assuming we can take more loans).
But permeant signings when the look and feel of the club at the beginning of Jan was were going down and the managers getting sacked. ??‍♂️
Throw a relegation clause into any negotiation and most will run a mile if there’s similar offers from more stable clubs on the table.
As someone said earlier the best thing about this window was £40m+ for Clare Balding and not buying more rubbish. (Given the links for Ayew - hopefully that was more to do with judgement than luck)
