Did Thelwell actually say those words or did someone else put them in his mouth? Dave Prentice possibly, they came from the Everton website, I’d like to believe Thelwell never said them.
Then he needs to go and tell whoever it is that they don't speak for him and not to do it. If he is playing along and just reading the fixed narrative from the board then he can just sod off tbh or maybe he needs a bit of a history lesson. I do wonder if him and Dyche really understand what the fans have had to endure these last 20+ years.

Both are on a hiding to nothing though mate, given the unrest and that they will likely both be the only ones front facing the media its inevitable both are going to be asked the questions in Dyches case every week as the convenient front facing lightening rod - its unfair to both to be drawing conclusions on sides based on them trying to just get through interviews.

Lets be honest plenty of bosses are whoppers, its hardly the fault of you as an employee, at the same time if your boss is a whopper you aren't going on social media for example and calling your boss a whopper for the world to see.

Its pointless trying to Pidgeon hole every employee of the club into any side of the division - lads are trying to get on with their careers and the function of the unrest is outside their remit.

ye can also say 4 of the worst maupay rondon mcneil and mykelenko where signed by benitez and thellwell to

Ridiculously harsh on Mykolenko. He’s had some bad games playing wingback in a 5 yes, but I must have imagined those games in the run in last season when he was just pocketing opposition wingers. In a back 4 he’s solid.

People will never get over the fact Benitez bought him so just take every opportunity for a dig. Same with Patterson who is a young lad adapting to a new league and has had multiple injuries but still started this season very well. Very very sad how agendas get in the way.

Its funny that the same fans who hate on Big Kev, Rafael and loved Lampard are the same fans who cant admit our best players these past two seasons have been largely Big Kev & Rafael signings (Onana, Tarks, Gana, Gray) and Lampard was the worst manager we've had since Walker.

You can write what many of the boys on ere know about futbol on the back of a fag packet lol
Whereas yours can be written on a postage stamp

Both of them are concerned with the First Team and that should be their focus, if Dyche is asked questions he can just say it's not his place to comment on such matters. I recall Moyes going into a press conference and just sitting there silent throughout it. There is more than enough work needed in and about the first team for both of them without either one having to be involved in the off field stuff imo.

I'm 90% right when it comes to Everton tbh. Just look at recent big talking points:

Was right about Usmanov being our unofficial owner when many doubted the links.

Was right about BMD being built when many called it a pipedream.

Was right about DCL being nothing special when ya'll were creaming yer kecks over him running around a lot under Silva / a purple patch under King Carlo

Was right when I said King Carlo will dump us at the first opportunity when many said he loves us and Crosby

Was right about Marcel Brands being a divvy when ya'll called him "der architect"

Was right about us not going down last season

Was right about Lampard being a bozo

Was right about Dyche being a better manager than Potterball

Its an impressive track record even though I don't like to blow my own trumpet !

The lad is basically just saying he doesn't know enough about it and he can see both sides of view mate - given he needs both the fans and not to antagonize his employer, that's just the sensible play really.

I don't really care about his opinion on it to be honest mate, the dude is here to win football matches, if he does that im happy enough, hes not going to come out and pick a side either way, he'd be pretty stupid to in fact, hes just going to try to get through press conference from press conference without antagonizing anyone - shouldn't be an issue for him really.

We should all want the current division not to spill over into the football side of things.

1) You’re not American same way you’re not Scottish so knock the slang words on the head

2) that’s the single most line of BS ever printed on this forum

Yes fair enough ho should make it plain if he never made those comment, it’s just that the statement said that a strong bond was made by Billy with Jordan Pickford since 2017, so who told Thelwell about that he’s only been here twelve months!!

i couldn’t care less who signed him i just thinks he crap and has been all season last season he wasn’t bad after a few games but wasn’t great either boss goal against leicester like
