Maupay never played as a forward at brighton. He played wide and off wellbeck. Which made it all the stranger when calvert lewin was fit maupay was plonked on the bench.
Plus every man and his dog knew calvert lewin wasnt staying fit. So maupay doesnt count as 1 striker.
Mate i know you want to find a reason. But it was a shocker of a signing knowing full well we needed a central striker with Mr made of glass on the sidelines all the time.
