Maupay did not look a decent signing, he was not the type of player we needed at all. I don't think he is good enough, but, that not withstanding, he is a midget and couldn't possibly have been expected to stand in for the notoriously injury prone Calvert Lewin.
his failings are astronomical in the decline this season. It was bad enough that fat arse binned off all attacking threat last year.
But “Doing Bits Kev” has landed us in this position with his inability to identify attacking options that are an actual threat.

i didn’t take to him the first time I heard him. He talks the talk. He sounds like a politician. He calls himself a ‘line manager’. i’ve never once heard him talk about players he’s brought into football clubs, I never once heard Moshiri ask him about his record in the transfer market. I never once heard the Board interviewed him intrinsically about his record on footballers.
Failure to bring in an effective striker in TWO windows when folk on this site highlighted DCLs fragility 18 months ago demonstrates this man is not a ‘football man’. He’s smarmy, he’s exactly what we don’t need yet he largely escapes the Boardroom wrath.
