I thought you said we had cash to play with this summer Zat?

Nobody outside the club knows, mate.

I think Thelwell has done a decent job thus far. Everyone we signed last season improved the squad, and if we continue in that vein then we should be able to steer clear of relegation and hopefully start building something.

33 minutes from being relegated 100% means he didn't have more hits than misses.

We needed a quality striker in August, he didn't get one

We dont know how tied his hands were.

For the billionth time i said we SHOULD have money to use based off FFP and P&S

Whether Moshiri makes that happen or not is another dimensional conversation.

Well whilst his hands were untied in August he would have been better off not spending the best part of 45m+ on Maupay and Onana because the absolute number 1 priority was a striker who would slot and creativity

Hed have been stupid not to sign Onana and Garner when he had the chance.

Our midfield would have been absolutely diabolical.

That's not right is it.

DCL was due back from injury, and Maupay is an established Premier League CF.

Onana was a good signing, as was Tarkowski, Coady, Garner and McNeil.

Hard to know whose fault it is. We’ve had 3 DoF come in with good reputations and our signings policy has remained all over the place. Had loads of weird signings that have made no sense.
The only constants during this time are Moshiri and Kenwright who I guarantee are the ones sticking their noses in and making a complete mess.

The signings under Thelwell are far more cohesive than the signings we made under Walsh and Brands.

You would think you'd all take heed from Brands' comments about not being able to do what he wanted/sign who he wanted before putting all the blame on Thelwell.

I'm not saying he's blameless but if you can't acknowledge the circumstances he's trying to navigate in AND without knowing who exactly was "his signings" then the argument is void.

DCL due back from injury was always going to be taking a risk due to his issues for a whole 12 months previous.

Tarkowski was my player of the season but if they're all good signings why were we 33 minutes away from relegation? Oh that's right it's because we didn't have a proper goalscorer to put the ball in the back of the net.

Oh I know mate and don't worry I'm not defending Kenwright and Moshiri as they are the root cause of our problems.

But this fella did have a budget last summer and I won't entertain anyone who says he's done a decent job when we were left so striker light it was absolutely criminal, not just 1 window but 2 windows.
