I think it's a little early to decide if he's a villain or a hero for this window. The only completed deals are Dobbin out and Not So Tiny Tim in and the only other deal near completion is a reserve defender leaving for slightly over his book value. Decent start but a long way to go.

Hope now this is a massive change and we allow him to do what his roll suggests.

I think Brands would have done a good job if he’d been left alone to get on with it. Thelwell has shown encouraging glimpses despite the financial chaos, deserves some time to show what he’s really capable of under the new owners.

Yeah, I agree we might have seen a different outcome had he been left to get on with it. Was critical of the time that he do his job properly but I suppose when we realise how mad the situation was at the club then it’s understandable he just took the money and ran. The DoF is responsible for the playing side so let them succeed or fail on their own merits.
