Interesting that he's been very proactive in the market now the certain master transfer negotiator is out the picture.
Almost like he being allowed to do his job.

Well we certainly wouldn't have had Maupay up top of those 2 crabs weren't interfering.Likewise, Brands got pelted by the fans for some of our transfer dealings, but he rightly called out that there were too many parties involved.
With no Kenwright and Moshiri, hopefully we can start to get some form of real strategy in place, so we can utilise what precious resources we have.
Not just him. I just cracked one off at that prospect. This could be Zats wet dream , getting rid of both DCL and Beto
Always felt he loved waiting for the last day reduced prices and dramaInteresting that he's been very proactive in the market now the certain master transfer negotiator is out the picture.

I have no idea, but I would expect it to be Lampard and Thelwell.Who was behind Maupay? Genuine question.

Easy to be critical in hindsight, but I still to this day think the Maupay signing made some sense.
Everton did not have much money available and needed a striker. Lampard was somewhat flexible with formations and with Maupay, they had a striker that could play together with DCL.
Financially having like for like alternatives that does not play together is extremely expensive. If one plays well, the other one ends up getting benched and can't retain his market value. Most clubs can't afford to have two good and similar strikers fighting for one position.
We tried that when getting in Beto. Even when DCL had a poor season, Beto suffered from lack of minutes and poor performances. What did we pay for Beto? 25 million? I can't see any club willing to pay 15 for him now. He's turning into Cenk.
The main problem with signing Maupay as a striker that could play both alone as a 9 and with DCL, was that DCL got injured. And it got even worse by Everton replacing Lampard with Dyche. It will always be impossible for a Maupay to shine playing Dyche-ball.
Maupay was poor for Everton, but that doesn't make him a poor footballer. He did OK for Brentford last season. Looked better than Beto ever will. And if you ask 100 top managers if they want Maupay or Beto in their squad, I am sure the majority would pick Maupay.
It definitely made sense at the time. He had 10, 8 and 8 the previous 3 seasons in the prem. Not prolific but as a back up striker he seemed an ok buy. He just proved to be absolutely shocking when playing for us. I remember him getting into some decent positions but his reactions/shooting was just awful.I have no idea, but I would expect it to be Lampard and Thelwell.

Someone suggested to me that it looks like an artificial phallus but I can’t say I’ve ever noticed personally.Anyone noticed the size and shape of Kevin’s nose?
Yeah but the comment I replied to said if he makes a particular signing we owe him an apology, it would take a few successful signings before he should be taking any credit. I agree with the right back thing considering we tried to replace Coleman with Sidibe and Martina god knows how long ago. DOF just doesn’t seem to work at our club.Come on mate, nobody really knows what hes cooking.
I mean we have 2 right backs with a combined age of 73, let him cook.
