even a playmaker type like kudus would not solve our problem. unless he serves maupay ten chances on a plate every game.

I see that the kopites have signed Endo. am also seeing more Jap names in the championship and Scottish league. why can't our scouts go sample the fresh sushi in Japan and unearth a Mitoma or Kagawa.

Totally agree, strikers feed on chances, last season we lacked creativity.
First of all we need to rectify that problem before we sign someone to lead the line.

TBF, wingers can be wide forwards mate. Say if we added Harrison, Gnonto, Danjuma to go with McNeill and Iwobi - some can play through the middle up front - in the way Richarlison did while, some can play deeper deeper at 10 as well as out wide as traditional wingers or part of a three as wide forwards, i don't know if id Pidgeon hole them all as wingers - there is a lot of variance and utility in there - that i think is intentional planning.

We need a centre forward, but i dont think just recruiting one solves the goalscoring problem - its not that simple to my mind, the games DCL played last season - he was feeding of scraps - the whole offensive unit needs adding to for creativity, threat, goals and assists.

To be fair, I was at the game last week, we had a minimum of 5 clear cut opportunities to score, a half decent / in form striker would have had a field day.
