Yes you are, we are 100x worse than we were when he took over the role.

Isn't the job of a DoF to bring in players that will benfit the clubs long term strategy ( lol) rather than just the whim of a particular manager ?

I would guess you are very much in the minorityAm I the only one that thinks he’s done a good job with the limited resource has has been given?
I'm prepared to accept that he has a very difficult or impossible job to sign decent players for 87p and a bag of crisps, payable in instalments, but if he can't do it, there's no point in paying him, so clearly he should walk, or be shown the door.Am I the only one that thinks he’s done a good job with the limited resource has has been given?
I think it's very easy to pass judgement tbh, we have needed a competent striker for 2 years and he's spent the best part of 30m on Maupay and some youth player not ready for the league. An utter scandal.Very difficult to pass judgement based purely on results, without an intimate knowledge of the conditions/situations he has to operate in. Different to slagging off a manager who fails to use the potential of the players we can all see on the pitch.
A few on here claim to know enough about the DOF job and the various relationships involved to slag off Thelwell (and Brands) before him. I don't.
He's made us weaker every window since he's been here, and not strengthened areas of the team we desperately need. He's doing an awful job.Am I the only one that thinks he’s done a good job with the limited resource has has been given?
We have literally got the worst team in the league. All the quality players were sold to balance the books due to catastrophic spending and replaced with a mix of pensioners and no marks.Am I the only one that thinks he’s done a good job with the limited resource has has been given?
We have tried for numerous strikers this summer from Gyorkeres to EBT and now it seems Adams and players keep knocking us back, you have to ask why? Is the PL maybe not the draw it once was? is it the lure of European football in other leagues? Do players not want to play for Dyche and are concerned about his "negative manager" rep? Are we telling these players they are only ever going to be backup to a player who can't stay fit whatsoever? Also Maupay ended up here because our esteemed chairman had to have his summer dose of "PL experience" We actually had a loan to buy lined up for Guirassy and Kenwright put the kybosh on it.I think it's very easy to pass judgement tbh, we have needed a competent striker for 2 years and he's spent the best part of 30m on Maupay and some youth player not ready for the league.
