No I wouldn’t, but then I am not on the level of salary they are on. They will have financial security already to an extent, and football is such a small community when it comes to reputation, if you stay at a club as DoF for five years, and they constantly struggle to survive, you become tarnished. If Thelwell is in that latter camp as you suggest, he deserves all the flak he gets. I understand the willingness of DoFs to be resilient and effect change from within, but at some point you either looks for another job, or resign out of principle. That’s just me.
