I agree with what you say
But unfortunately until we get ourselves up the League and hopefully in contention for a trophy(big ask) our better players will always be looking at the better teams. Rooney, Barkley Gordon. Even if we get to be a mid table team someone like Branthwaite will start looking at the more successful teams.
That's why it's important we target good young players
I'm a bit torn over giving Thelwall another one. Signed some bad players. But on reflection he has been hamstrung financially and when you look at some of the players he has tried to bring in kudus minteh etc I would give him another year to see what he can do.
