At the moment Thelwell is the one at the top of the tree in providing info to TFG on managers and players we need so he’ll stay for a while. If Moyes comes in then he’ll very likely have told TFG the players or type of players he needs in January to avoid relegation. Thelwell’s job will then be to go and get them. We desperately need a football minded CEO though who understands the game who can sit above Thelwell and the new manager and start to shape our future and who should be manager and DoF long term.

I’d steer well clear of him to be honest. Don’t think it’s a coincidence that Ashworth and Potter both fell off a cliff after leaving Brighton. Ashworth had some awful shouts at United and flattered to deceive at Newcastle. Thelwell is no worse than him, Ashworth would have us with Southgate twerking for Rashford all summer
