Im not his biggest fan, but the fella is working with 1 hand tied behind his back.

At the same time he's assembled a squad that is only 1 point better off than the 3 promoted sides. People can give him a free pass because we're skint but his record since he got here isn't much to write home about.

Not focusing on attackers has been his biggest problem

Far too many times we have made signings in other areas that make no difference when we can't score a goal.

I dont back the wider recruitment teams judgement in signing attackers unfortunately.

Not sure loan signings of that ilk can be considered a “waste of money”; if anything, it saved us from lumping money on someone who didn’t quite fit the bill but that we brought in anyway due to desperation.

I’m personally glad to see the back of the “£28m on Yannick Bolasie” days.

Having said that, you’re spot on in terms of Harrison & Lindstrøm; neither are anywhere near good enough for us and we should be doing everything we can to get in a quality wide player this window.
