2024/25 Kevin Thelwell

Having watched the Spurs presser, Moyes has final say and is quite rightly taking his time to research himself (or getting other people he trusts) to run the rule over the player lists he has been presented with. Thelwell is a middle manager, he oversees. Player recruitment is a team game and Thelwell sits in the office that the recruitment team reports to.

Looks that way. Moyes frightens me.

Bloke had a good eye before but its gradually gotten worse over the years.

Which other teams in the Premier League have had to sell their best players and run at a profit?

Even when buying players restricted only to those with little / no £ up front.

There is a reason that the squad is so much worse than 5 or 6 years ago.

The players who they were after but fell slightly short of due to £ would have made a world of difference Kudus, Gyokeres etc

I can see why Thelwell is being focussed on more now that Dyche has gone. We could see Dyche’s performance on a match day e.g. failure to take decisive action vs Bournemouth at home. Bottom for xg etc. less so Thelwell evacuee of conjecture about who was buying whom and the obvious financial restriction but if Thelwell has failed, it’s also because the two DoFs who had money failed - our transfer business with them saw us paying abive market value with very little resale

If this fella was any good he would already have our January transfer window business done and dusted considering we are just above the relegation zone and the previous Manager was and the new Manager is absolutely desperate for more quality in the team. Zero chance his contract gets renewed thankfully.

it's the 19th of January and nothing....the guy is a muppet

KT has tried to sign Gibbs-White but was blown out of the water by Forest.
He also had a deal in place for Kudus only for it to fall apart because Utd decided to vastly overpay for Antony.

I think if TFG wanted rid of KT he would have gone with Sean Dyche.

Time will tell what the relationship is between Moyes and KT but my feeling is that both will work together to decide on targets.
