The one thing that comes across to me with Ronald is that he can be rash with his decision making and his bridges with players too quickly. He needs to understand that there is another way in which all can save face and a door must always be left open for players to get back into the match day squad if others do not perform.

The reality of the internet and more specifically it seems Everton is that some posters will treat every good news rumour as gospel and await updates on VVD's imminent arrival . Others take every piece of rumoured bad news like chicken licken and run around shouting how the sky is falling in , the same posters who treat a 1-0 win or preseason draw like a 5-0 loss at Anfield and sadly some of them even seem to enjoy it .
I've no idea whether Dowell is happy or not but I'm not going to become hysterical because he might go out on loan either . I know it's dull and seems repetitive but coming out of a fairly decent season we have to let the bloke who sees these players everyday pick what he thinks our best side don't we ? If we have a horrible season , like those two before his arrival then I'd suppose the conversation changes a bit .

I have no idea if the story about a move to Forest will happen but it would/could be a great move for Dowell.
How much game time is he going to get in the first team this season ? He will be competing with Rooney, Sigurdsson and others and quite honestly any poster who does not have an agenda and who has watched our youth football in recent years I think may agree when I say that so far he hasn't shown enough to be certain of getting games ahead of these. @catcherintherye

A season out on loan like that did Barkley no favours, it'd do even less for a player like Dowell. He's about three moves ahead of those Championship players. He'll end up with the ball at his feet looking to pick a pass with no runners ahead and getting belted from the side or behind and have his leg in bits.
Hes complete plop, he can go AWOL in any league in the world.
