Im fairly sure I could score 3 a game in the championship, colour me impressed when hes performing in a proper league.

Dwight Gayle scored 23 goals last season in that league, hes scored 3 so far in the Prem, thats the level.

Dowell has been playing midfield though, not as a striker...

I'm amazed you aren't impressed, not only by his goal numbers, but the quality and the praise from forest fans..

Im impressed, the lads doing great, I was all for the loan, hopefully its enough for him to kick on.

Im just not impressed the way people compare him to players who have actually made it in the game and I do have a degree of caution based on previous great white hopes.

I know @davek likes Dowell...how about compared with 'Goal machine' Yannick?

As I said stats are fine, but I thought yala was doing relatively well providing assists to our team. He added a dimension we are lacking to this day, and as I said would've helped us in away games mostly with the way Koeman set up.

Dowell will be great hopefully but the season on loan will help him, don't agree with shouts saying he should've been here this season... but in the future should he continue to kick on then awesome, he's doing very well right now.

Here’s an early photo of them , Milk Cup in N Ireland I think. They’re together at the back . Connolly, Kenny and Walsh hiding behind the Cup are in it too.
