As there is a lot of advocating for Unsworth to take over when Koeman leaves, I personally would keep all the young prospects on our books for him to make that decision.

Don't see what's the hurry in ofloading our potential stars for the future.

I doubt very much Dowell's gone out on loan without Unsworth being heavily involved in the decision making process mate.

I wondered that.

But maybe that's getting ahead of ourselves. If he astounds he'll return.
If he's really good for them we'll have him back. If he's dead average then perhaps not. But then what are we missing out on? Blue coloured specs on for most of us cos he's a EFC youth but he might just not have enough in his locker. There have been a few.

Are they as good as we think though. No saying Rhino will be next up either. I sincerely doubt it tbh.

Just Calvert - Lewin to find a loan club for now.
He's a massive unknown for me even after seeing him 20 odd times. I'd start Ademola over him every day right now if we have to start a youngster in that vein. Ronald must like something he sees in training. I can't quite fathom the kid out tbh. Was shocking for the first 30 mins on Thursday.

Nottingham Forest set to sign Everton midfielder Kieran Dowell on loan

Nottingham Forest are expected to complete a deal to sign England starlet Kieran Dowell on a season-long loan from Everton on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old attack-minded midfielder was part of the England squad that won the Under-20 World Cup this summer.

He is highly regarded at the Goodison Park club, where he has made two Premier League appearances, both towards the end of the 2015/16 season.

Dowell will complete the formalities of his move in time to challenge for a place in the Reds squad that faces Millwall in the Championship on Friday night.

Ormskirk-born Dowell has represented England at almost every age group from Under-16 upwards and has a reputation for having a powerful shot with his left foot.

He scored the only goal of the game, against hosts South Korea, in the group match that took England through to the second round of the Under-20 World Cup – and was also in the starting XI that beat Venezuela 1-0 in the final – which secured England’s first global success since 1966.

He made his Everton debut as an 87-minute substitute, replacing Ross Barkley in a 2-1 home win over Bournemouth in April 2016. He then started the Toffees' final game of the campaign against Norwich, also at Goodison Park.

But he will now add competition and energy to the central midfield area at the City Ground.

Forest are still hoping to add one further signing, in addition to Dowell, before the season kicks off on Friday evening.

It baffles me why Koeman perseveres with playing him out on the right.
