How many competitive games have you seen him play Dave?

He's 19 ffs, and is being loaned out to gain experience in a highly competitive league, playing every week.

Why didn't you criticise him for loaning out young Henry who's the same age, and we've just paid £8m for btw?

Dowell: I stake all my credibility built up on here over the years passing correct judgement on players to state categorically that this lad is the real deal. He is two moves ahead of his team mates here...which makes it all the more a numb nuts decision to punt him into the savagery of the Chumpionship.

I could see that move as making sense if we played the complete possession game as we did under Martinez, but is he's going to acclimatise to what Koeman wants he'd surely be better off going to a club that looks to mix it up and also use a more direct style of play?

We have fans who want us to break into the top 4/6, yet at the same time get a titty lip if he has to do that by buying players in ready NOW for the first XI as they want the under 23's brought in as it is the correct way to do it.

So this "quick fix" that you seem to have a dig at here is only what every other club in the top 6 seem to do.

If he delivers a top four finish, you won't hear a word out of me, I'll be made up and singing his praises. If we finish 7th again and sell off or drive off the rest of our "golden generation", then it will be a very different tone.
