I dont care what he thinks.
Let's be clear different managers take different views on players. This cliche about managers seeing players every day so they know best is total bollocks. There's countless examples of players stuck in reserves & then a new manager comes along and they are in the team and doing well. If Koeman was really concerned about Dowell's development he'd have sent him on loan last season.

Personally I've got little confidence that Koeman will give Dowell a chance next season so I'm glad he's gone on loan. It's a waste though.

100% agree mate. KDs best hope is that Koeman leaves.

Sums it up for me

You're beyond parody by this point. Bobby is gone. You were wrong about him and pretty much everything. Best to admit it , move on. Koeman is moving this club forward in every way. Don't recall us winning EPL2 when El Fraudo was here.

Dowell isn't good enough. Yes he scored some worldies every now and then but watch him over a full 90 mins and he doesn't cut it for me. Loan is the best option right now. He was awful against Liverpool in that final EPL2 game last season.

He was also awful at the WC with England under20 but because you can see him scoring a couple of great goals on youtube some people think he's ready for our first team. Loan is perfect for him.

Well you must have been watching different games from everybody else if you thought he was "awful" , and it really does say a lot about your knowledge of football. The link up play with Kenny and subsequent goal he scored to beat S Korea was one of the goals of the tournament and his ability to create goals for others was also shown. From memory he started just about every match, which suggests the manager didn't rate him as awful either. Equally he wasn't anywhere near being the best midfielder on the pitch and was usually substituted as he faded in the second half, but to suggest he was awful is laughable.

He wasn't awful, but equally he wasn't a player that demanded inclusion in the PL either. He's a young lad, so lets be patient with him. Remember, Harry Kane was 21 when he came into the Spurs side, and I think young players are entering the PL at an older age now than they did in the past, thanks I suspect to the increased physical demands. Patience.
