Always not about how much a player grafts for me mate, with talent like Dowell, he puts a smile on my face, has me on the edge of my seat, talent like his doesn't come along that often, so we should embrace it, and drool.

The biggest worry for me is Koeman, he likes his players to work hard, put a shift in, hope he can see past that with Dowell because I don't see him as a grafter.

He's got that Li Tissier, Ozil type body language that'll wind people up.

Something seriously wrong if this lad doesn't become an established player for Everton.

The kid is an absolute wizard with ball. Yet Mirallas somehow still has a spot in the team when he can't beat a training dummy one on one anymore. Every time I see him do sexual things on the pitch i get excited until I remember he was deemed not good enough for our squad this season. And then i get sad and get out on my early Cure records.

Because he's now playing for A Forest?

I'll get me coat

I think the loan is good for him. Sigurdson may well play on the left and the Forrest fans are saying he fades in games and is a little lightweight. Why not loan him out to get that experience and get back a stronger player? I think it's a good move for him, by the sounds of it he's lighting up their league so let him get a full season under his belt rather then sit here on the bench. Can you honestly see him dislodging Sigurdson, Klaassen, Sandro, Rooney, Lookman?

It's a great compilation and things that we've seen Kieran do regularly in the younger age groups, so good to see it coming together in men's football. The bits that had me giving a quiet nod to where the number of times he used his upper body strength to keep the ball and hold off an opponent. 15 months ago it was'nt there, then he had a growth spurt which seemed to affect his performances last August-December ish. Now he's not only got a bigger , stronger body but is comfortable in using it. I remember commenting on this preseason and remarking he's no Barkley but he's bigger physically now, though he'll never be huge, he doesn't have to be with his skill. He was named as Man of the Match in the Sunday Times report of yesterday's game.

Aye, particularly the bit on 1.33 and also liked the segment just after where he not only holds off someone but then sprints past them the length of the pitch to receive the ball back.

..there are a few examples of him holding players off, he's got a good size about him and will only get stronger. Love watching him.
He's going to hit a spell where he struggles either because he gets tired/a niggling iniury/his opponents hit on tactics to foil him - all young players do and will be interesting to see how he reacts to the challenge.

But the self confidence he is gaining in these early games, and the goodwill he is building among the supporters, will hopefully see him through it and in the meantime as you say it is a joy watching him.

..he clearly has a lot of confidence and self-belief. The manner in which he plays suggests he knows he's got real quality. Let's not forget he's stepping up to competitive open-age football at a new club in a new city and he's not been found wanting.

It suggests he has attitude. Attitude is about not being scared of football matches.

Thought he played for Town Green on Winfred Lane? More Aughton than Ormskirk but happy to be corrected by those with more local knowledge of young KDs early career!!

I hated town green, they were a good team in my year. Not as good as m trinity, but still pretty good
