Sadly he would be far and away the best RB at the club.

Would i rather see Tripper in our team than Young or Coleman, absolutely i would but still this is an absolute shiite show.

Spoke to a few of my barcode mates about this yesterday and they all seemed genuinely gutted he wants to leave.

As I said yesterday, talking to Newcastle fans and they rate him. The concensus is that he's a quality player, can cover both FB positions, great set peice delivery. His form dropped off massively after the rumours about his personal life emerged - which they seemed to suggest was about the time of his errors against us.

My only reservation is his age.

Trippier isnt ‘great’ and Geordies are not blessed with analytical insight, but hes far better than any other fullbacks we have.

I honestly can't see this happening. Dyche has no intention at all of not having either Young or Coleman at full back as soon as possible.

Personally reckon he's hanging his hat on Coleman coming back in and playing at least 2/3rds of the season.

Yep that's what I think mate. I'd be surprised if Coleman puts a run of 3 games together without breaking down.
