Pic in front of a clearly open door combined with GPS location recorded is sufficient. Taking snapshots of peoples ID or even people's faces is a data protection nightmare which would increase the cost of delivery by an incredible amount. And for the life of me I can't see the point in signatures anymore as they mean absolutely nothing.Thanks for everyone's help, I really appreciate it

They need to not take a pic of the parcel on the floor, but take a pic of the person receiving it, with some sort of ID in their hand, along with proof or address ID, it's not that hard. That way, we can identify the little scruffs
The onus remains on the seller unless they can clearly show evidence of safe delivery.
