Really wanted him to stay as has as much natural ability as anyone.

But, a trawl through any of the match day threads in here against the top 6 will see a thousand accusations of our team being too full of bottlers / lack of winning mentality.

Sadly I think Ross is one of those that when the pressure's on - he folds. When the criticism comes - he sulks.

We need to replace talent with talent, but a mentality upgrade has been needed across the team for years.

Come on Mikey you must see that your being a bit daft here, there isn't any conspiracy or somthing being kept from us. Rom has wanted out since day one and has never made a secret of it so it's hardly a big surprise he left this summer after scoring as many as he did last season. Plus we all knew that the delicate little flower Ross was upset by the nasty things Koeman said to him so its harldy a suprise that the weakling wants out either. We're well shot of the cowardly little snake.
 
Lame. Now we gonna end up with £50m siggurdson instead. Awful business buying him at that price and selling Barkley for probably half that amount... truly awful.

I know some aren't arsed but it's put a big downer on the summer for me.

Yes and ross isnt the only one still there with a non winning mentality against the top 6. With ross gone now as well we need 2/3 more in without doubt. And starters.
 
We can finally put this "best squad in a generation " nonsense to bed.

What the last 18 months have shown is that Moyes and Martinez assembled a squad of players with not a set of balls among them. Koeman is finally acting how a manager should. If you aren't committed, if you lack belief, if you are gutless, if you can't handle the pressure of playing for Everton, then you will be escorted straight to the door. It's been a long time coming, but I'm delighted.

Sig in. Ross out. An improvement not just in the quality of our side, but also in the character of our side. Football games are won between the ears sometimes. We've been losing them between the ears for 30 years.

Barkley may not get along with Koeman but every manager has the same problem.

When your football god lost the dressing room, you said it was Howard's fault, it was Distin's fault, it was Mirallas's fault and it was Baines's fault. This is double standard.
