Why are you so desperate for him to be at a club below us in the pecking order?

Bit insecure to not want him to go to a club with greater prospects than we have right now.

Because it's were he belongs. He wont succeed at anywere better then us long term imo. Once He's left Everton Football Club I wish him nothing but failure, you see I support the club Dave. I don't hate everything about it and want it to fail just to suit my agenda or want people that leave us to succeed just so I can reval in the clubs failure.

A sad indictment of the clubs lack of ability to actual win a trophy or attain anything remotely close to being worthy of maintaining quality players.

Stones, Lukaku and now Barkley. All full international players and all will be playing for teams above us.

Sad really. Still, we can roll this in glitter and pretend we are building a squad, which I do hope is reality but this doesn't feel anything like it.

Bottom line is that the club has tried to conduct it's buissness behind closed doors and Ross has made that position impossible by refusing to sign.

It's not very closed doors to run your contract down, it's painfully obvious what he was doing. What did you want the club to say to Ross? "Please sign Mr Barkley if you have a spare moment, were awfully sorry we can only pay you a pitiful sum over a £100k every week".

Stop making excuses for the sniveling little snake. He's forced the club's hand every step of the way. He was winding down his contract and Koeman said pubically "sign or be sold" then the club had behind closed doors negotiations which Barkley has rejected. Ross left the club no other choice but to go public, he would of happily just wound down the deal and left the club with nothing.

Well if he was such a victim then he should of grown a pair, made a transfer request and made a public stament of the position he felt he was in. Just further proof that Ross has no bottle whatsoever.
