Because they wanted to keep the negotiations ''BEHIND CLOSED DOORS'' and try to convince Barkley he was making a massive mistake.
A year is more then long enough negotiations time. How will he get any better by sitting on the Spurs bench?Weren't talks planned for him earlier?! Then delayed?(maybe wrong)
Maybe he feels this is the right time in his career to move? Before committing to a new long term contract? Maybe he needs to move to get better?!
He's the one in the wrong, deliberately winding down his contract trying to do the club over.In which barkley was doing also?....
Loved Frozen did you see it ?Very bitter that, all assumptions on your behalf that.
Let it go.

I wanted him to stay to for a long while but has proven he doesn't have the guts or backbone for us. He wants a nice easy ride with a manager telling him he's "phenomenal" and is the perfect player, ok he can have that on the Spurs beach as a squad player who won't be relied on most of the time, once the manager clocks that Ross isn't all that good let's see how the best mate manager lark goes then. Koeman was trying to help Ross with constructive criticism, not reading him BS.Some players need to be managed in different ways. Maybe poch has what it takes to make him a better player?!
Who knows he might kick on and earn a regular spot at spurs?!
We'll never know until it happens.
If he goes, good luck to him!
Shame as I'd love him to stay but we move on!

This is the first time I have been in this thread since Koeman confirmed he wanted to go (out of disgust), and I find what I pretty much expected... a bunch of wrongens blaming Koeman and trying to give ross a free ride out of here.
Well buckle up Ross because I won't be giving you a free ride, not on my watch. I'll scalp the traitorous little mutant.
At last! Somthing we can agree on!But at the moment we'll have to agree to disagree
