Koeman: "We've only spent £7m"

Not really. If we know money is coming in very soon then it's sensible to spend first. But it's still selling to buy, just retrospective. The net effect is the same.

I've no issue selling the dross, but when we sold Rom for 90m then we should be spending over 50 on his replacement. I'm happy with all our business so far but the striker situation is a farce. We knew he was leaving about March so why no plan and why no big money replacement?

The latter mate I guess only koeman or the board know the answer to this? It's Deffo weird like Deffo.

Just the 3 positions he says will cost big money in this crazy market.
I think it will cost north of 100 mil for them players.

IMO he was trying to keep the media tempered knowing the club still needs to spend big on the 3 players.

I agree with you mate. And if we want the quality as such it's going to cost good money

Clean us out.... But not mosh? I mean if he's so rich then surely he can give us what we need?

Sadly at this point Matty mate, The Mosh isnt the sugar Daddy we all thought.

Hes not gonna throw all his cash at the club, I suppose thats why hes a multi-billionaire.

No real issue with the fella, hes still gave us a platform to grow and grow we will, but hes not gonna be dipping his own hand in his pocket anymore than he already has, no real issue with that, but it is what it is.

1. Brexit costs denial
2. Climate change denial
3. Importance of net spend denial
4. Dangers of increased deficit denial

Essentially, if you fit any one of the above there's a high chance you are a Tory.

Koeman, socialist and Everton manager.

Agree but Brexit was voted for by more Labour constituencies than Tory, and was backed by Corbin, shame Burnham wasn't in charge when it really mattered.

Net spend is a measure of shareholder investment if you include TV revenes and wage increases within the equation.
