pmsl imagine that. Scores 19 goals for Ivory Coast or wherever it is he comes from and then needs another 18 months on the sidelines to let his knee rest.
...it was explained a month or so ago that after he plays he feels pain in his knee and he cannot turn out again for 3 weeks or so. They are monitoring that recovery time in the hope that it reduces. I recall them saying that they will re-assess in January, I suspect his career might be at a crossroads unless there has been an improvement.
