I dunno. We lost about 2m on him didn't we? So far we've seen Kone in action - albeit limited - and he was absolutely pathetic. Plus he cost around 5m, and has earned around 40k a week for 18 months with no return in sight, and we won't get anywhere near 5m for him if and when we sell him.

Nyarko and Bilic were worse signings. Those two simply didn't want to play for their salary, while Kone's been ridiculously hobbled by injury.

My understanding of that deal is we thought we were getting Tie (who wasn't that bad if you ask me) but got Wei Feng as part of the Chang deal. So we signed Tie as well.

True. Harsh to claim Kone is the worst cos he's been injured a lot. If you want to judge it purely financially then maybe he will turn out to be a bad buy. From a perspective of scouting & fit for purpose, I can't look past Kroldrup.
