To be honest, that's pretty standard for a 29 year old international footballer.

Not arsed at all by that.

Phil Neville was on more and he wasn't even a footballer for the last 2 years.

It will make him our third highest paid player after felli and heitinga won't it?

Mind, last year our four highest paid employees were moyes, neville, heitinga and felli.

Makes you wonder what jags and baines thinks of it all.

Kone will get paid £50K a week at everton when he signs.

Thats why football is stupid now. wages like that should be for top level players not players that were taking a gamble on and lets be honest he is a bit of a gamble, I mean sevilla got burned badly with him didn't they.

Kone having a scan at Halton Treatment centre now as part of his medical. I work there but on the go all the time so don't ask for pics.

...knee hanging off...we were *that* close from signing him. Oh well, let's give Fer a call.

I've just watched the 7 minute FA cup final highlights, everybody watch it and
watch Kone. I think Martinez is right
about him when he says he's well rounded.

Why dont you just watch your extensive collection of Wigan matches from last season?

He said the FINAL - very easily obtained. Search on

Yes it is. Although this guy claimed to have gone back and watched several Wigan games after Martinez was appointed. Including Wigan V Norwich - a game that wasnt televised anywhere. Strange he's now reduced to watching 7 minute highlights. I'm not even mentioning his Stubbs nonsense!

Good stuff really. At least we're buying an experienced international with pace to give us another option up top.

I guess £5m wouldn't be too bad, but it is a gamble. I won't be vaulting anyone for saying he'll be good or bad twelve months from now as it really is the toss of a coin.

They are but just not in England. I can watch 380 games a year if I got 10 TVs and 10 sets of subscriptions.
