Last Film You Watched

good topography and cheaper than filming in the states at the time apparently

no problems with that,

if they can film a western in outer space and make it look like it's the american mid west then I'll watch it happily

oooh I love Bladerunner, one of my all time favourites, suffered a little from all the different versions and the success of the Star Wars franchise, but my God man, it's a bonafide classic, I fkn love that film

Ridleys version is the only version. The studio cut is laughable, and the unicorn dream tells all. Hauer never better.

That takes me off on a tangent, best film baddies decade by decade.

you're right mate, it's the version I own anyway

which decade would you start at with the baddies ?

We seem to have a bit of an 80's fetish on here, probably because its general living memory and Everton showed football what football could be. Lets start 80's.
It'll go to Vader, but I want something more esoteric. Nicholson was a funny baddy in Batman. I cant squeeze Walken in for 'King of new york' (1990).
Damn the 80's is too great for baddies. We have all the 'video nasty' works to get through. Bliss.

Raising you a 'Little Caesar'

we can't have Frank White as the baddie, he's essentially an anti-hero, as was pacino's Tony Montana

original Terminator or maybe Gordon Gecko for the 80's say I

besides which, best movie bad guys by decade probably deserves it's own thread...

Spot on, baddies are baddies, anti-heroes are different. Would +rep for that insight I completely agree with. And Skynet is the actual baddy from Terminator ;)

-not buying the anti-hero/noire biz this end guys 'fraid (unless I'm thinking of the wrong flick- he had a psycho mar+ died falling from a silo right?)
