Last Film You Watched

The Cabin in the Woods.

6/10

Homage after homage, interesting in its way, thought the ending would be a lot cleverer than it turned out to be, I was expecting more after all the hype. An ok watch.

'NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY' starring the great Rod Stieger (RIP) and George Segal, alonside Lee Remmic. Here it is for old movie fans.

We seem to have a bit of an 80's fetish on here, probably because its general living memory and Everton showed football what football could be. Lets start 80's.
It'll go to Vader, but I want something more esoteric. Nicholson was a funny baddy in Batman. I cant squeeze Walken in for 'King of new york' (1990).
Damn the 80's is too great for baddies. We have all the 'video nasty' works to get through. Bliss.

What about Dr Hannibal Lecter or the tooth fairy in the 80s film Manhunter, they were pretty bad

Got to say halfway through Flags of our Fathers and I'm bored. Likely because I just finished watching The Pacific which was brilliant and they covered pretty much the exact same concepts, but executed them better.

Watched The Sweeney last week, i enjoyed the film, the action and good locations, but the storyline wasnt the best. 8/10

me too, you are spot on basically - apparently the film had its budget cut from £16 million to £3 million and they had to change the storyline last minute.

Was still ace though - you slaaaaaaaaaaaaaag
