Silent Hill at like 2 in the morning on Film4, just made no sense to me at all, might have to watch it again

We seem to have a bit of an 80's fetish on here, probably because its general living memory and Everton showed football what football could be. Lets start 80's.
It'll go to Vader, but I want something more esoteric. Nicholson was a funny baddy in Batman. I cant squeeze Walken in for 'King of new york' (1990).
Damn the 80's is too great for baddies. We have all the 'video nasty' works to get through. Bliss.

What about Dr Hannibal Lecter or the tooth fairy in the 80s film Manhunter, they were pretty bad

And an often overlooked classic, some only know the star from 'CSI whatever' but a true 80's gem has two awesome villains, I mean talk about spoilt for choice...

Watched Prometheus last night. It was quite good, some nice special effects even if the plot was a little lacking.

Watched avengers tonight, alright film and the hulk is awesome. Some quality little comedy moments in there as well

Got to say halfway through Flags of our Fathers and I'm bored. Likely because I just finished watching The Pacific which was brilliant and they covered pretty much the exact same concepts, but executed them better.

me too, you are spot on basically - apparently the film had its budget cut from £16 million to £3 million and they had to change the storyline last minute.

Was still ace though - you slaaaaaaaaaaaaaag
