Last Film You Watched

Watched some spy thriller last night called The Good Shepard, was interesting and well directed but just found it a bit too long and slow, and the ending was a bit of a none event

Venom
Don't care what the critics say, I really enjoyed it. Tom Hardy will always be one of my faves, liked the banter between Hardy and Venom etc. Only real negative was the shaky cam during action scenes, couldn't see what was going on. 7/10
Just been to see Venom. Nowhere near as bad as most of the reviews but I wouldn't say I think it was particularly good. Probably give it 5/10. As you say, the stuff between Hardy and Venom was pretty funny. Felt it really dragged in places and took ages to get going. Agree with the shaky cam, especially in the final fight. Very tough to work out what was going on

A Star Is Born. Can't stand Lady Gaga and her shouty voice and crap songs. She spoilt what could have been a decent film. She'll no doubt win an oscar such is the state of things at the moment.

Schindler's List
Masterpiece 10/10

Million Dollar Baby
Very good. 9/10

The Equalizer
Denzel is great, the villain not so much. Still some enjoyable violence in it and the story was better than expected. 7/10
If you’re a Hardy fan have you seen The Drop, that’s a great film.

Love that film, ive got a big collection of 50s sci fi but annoyingly its all on video and i havent got a player any more haha

Yes brilliant era for sci-fi and horror, Forbidden Planet cracking film with would you believe a young Leslie Nielson of Airplane fame in a leading role. The Day the Earth stood Still, Night of the Demon, The original Thing ala The Thing from another World and Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. Bit of a oldie film buff myself ;)

A great film. Can't believe it has not been remade. There was a rumour that Spielberg was going to do a remake a couple of years back but nothing came of it.
