Exactly my fellings. The hate for this just seems well ott. It's just an easy going, popcorn film that's fairly enjoyable if you just accept it for what it is.
True but couldn't same could be said for pretty much every single love interest character in pretty much every single comic film ever made with maybe one or two exceptions.
