I agree. I was brought up on them by my Mum. Whilst I am not religious at all (understatement) these are still some of the best films ever made. You are just missing Ben Hur !That was an era of great films, mainly of religious undertones. I'm not the most religious of people but to this day I love films like The Robe, Demetrius and the Gladiators, Quo Vadis, Spartacus, The Ten Commandements, Barrabas, The Greatest Story Ever Told, The Vikings, Anthony and Cleopatra, mainly starring Charlton Heston as the star and Tony Curtis. A great period for film making and those films are part of the reason why i'm doing a history degree at the moment.
