Last Film You Watched

Went to see Bohemian Rhapsody last night, i enjoyed it, the Brian May fella looked more like May then May does, in fact i think the casting of him Deacon and Taylor was great.
One thing i would say the time line being a bit off didnt bother me but not sure why they added that Mike Myers scene, seems a bit pointless to add something for perhaps comedy value when you only have limited time anyway why waste some? also the way the band formed not being correct seemed daft.
However defo worth seeing but only at the cinema IMO

Went watching it tonight (her pick) and although I'm pretty indifferent to Queen I quite enjoyed it. I've heard elsewhere it takes more than a few artistic licences which would probably bug me more if I was a fan.

Did seem a bit weird that apparently wrestling with the mic stand was the biggest difficulty they faced between forming and having a hit album in the states!

Yeah the artistic licences though seem to be fully endorsed by the rest of the band, so i dunno made its jard to say they shouldnt be in there.

Interesting trivia, the early band Smile once played in The Magnet on Hardman Street

Finally got around to watching Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Really enjoyed it with some superb performances, in particular, Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell.
A bit disappointed with the ending, but, a definite 8/10 film.

@Joey66 if you can find time break off from the Old Everton Pictures / EU threads, the klaxon is sounding again.

I notice the crappy ending but it's a very poor copy of a Cohen brothers movie , and the acting is great and carrys a very poor plot through a film about 3 billboards, as for my many threads I post on as the new prime minister on the GOT in a poll watch it or I will sack you as chancellor....
Joking apart Netflix have the new Cohen brothers film on netflix - no chance to see it as yet as in my new position of PM this pesky Brexit won't go away.....lol

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018)

8,5 / 10

What a gem from Coen brothers! Acting, directing and especially cinematography all top notch! Masterly shot six stories. I loved it, for me, film of the year so far.
