Just watched some German war film called The Bridge, was ok for a quid from the charity shop, from 2008, about some 16 year old German kids defending a bridge, one thing i did like was they all spoke German and the Americans spoke American, much prefer that in a war film then hearing Germans speak English to each other.
Seems this is a remake of a 50s classic, might have to track down the original now

Dallas buyers club. Not usually my type of film but it was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Mathew McConaughey was ridiculously good yet again.

A lot more fun than I expected it to be. It's not The Godfather, it's a brainless popcorn flick and it works. And Karen Gillan is nice. 7/10
