Last Film You Watched

Kursk. A bit of a routine take on a terrible story, but still worth seeing. As with Lords of Chaos (which I also saw recently), it's another film based on well-documented real events, yet knowing how it all pans out doesn't make it any less engaging.
 

The Living Daylights

I like Dalton as Bond. He feels more human than Moore and Connery and he has the charm needed for the character, even without the oneliners and being perfectly calm in every situation. This film almost felt more like an Indiana Jones film than a Bond film. 6/10

It only just came out here in Melbourne and we loved it, although it's probably one for those of a certain age.
Based on a true story, I know, but I was surprised that they apparently drew such poor crowds in small theatres on their tour around Britain in 1953.
That was a period when they were constantly on before the big picture and people laughed all the way through. Their act was so simple and never
changed, but as I said to my wife when we walked out, it's the kind of movie you could watch again and again...…..imo.
 

Captain Marvel 7/10 at a push.

Better than I expected but still not quite my thing. The random bouts of humour in Marvel films just irks me.

Considering that this is basically 2 hours of people running away from dinosaurs it's not a bad watch. Don't worry, the good guys and girls get away and there are plenty of dinosaurs still roaming free if they decide to make yet another Jurassic Park film.

Problem with the Jurassic Park movies is the Original movie was perfect, Spielberg nailed it...
 
Saw Captain Marvel today.

So very very very ace.

Better than I thought it’d be but don’t want to spoil for people.

The MCU is my bag for sure. Can’t get enough of them.

49 days to Endgame.

Agreed. Just got back and highly enjoyable. The bit where he bags out his ‘science guy’. So Aussie.
