Last Film You Watched

You don't trust my expertise judgment @Philw ?! I'm hurt mate!;)
Haha, tbf with you and @McBain's running Marvel/DC feud I've always thought the truth lies somewhere inbetween. I haven't watched enough of the DC films to make an informed decision, although the source I mentioned above would generally fall more in favour of the MCU films (not in a fanboy way - it was they who negatively reviewed Capt Marvel).

No feud here bro. Im looking forward to Shazam and Joker coming up. Be good to see where the Justice league ends up and cant wait to chug down a massive bucket bong and watch Aquaman again. Might make more sense that way lol

Lords of Chaos. I knew the story (of black metal band Mayhem) quite well, and thought this was a very watchable retelling of the various, notorious crimes centring around the band. Definitely worth seeing if it sounds at all like your sort of thing. We don't get too many (meaning enough) 18 cert films these days, and this one is good value for its rating, and is surprisingly graphic in places. Rory Culkin is the star, and he looks exactly as you'd expect (i.e. just like his brothers).

Siberia, staring Keanu Reeves. Great action packed movie, not to long time wise either at just over an hour and a half.

Not the ending I was expecting but surprisingly good. Recommended.

How old do you think I am mate?! The 90's is my era.

Early 20’s?

Reviews have been pretty mixed. But that’s not a huge surprise with a superhero film.

Looking forward to seeing it as I’m sure it will be enjoyable even if it’s not great

Looking on IMDB, quite a few 1/10’s then 7-9/10’s. Reviews seem to be slightly critical of some of the delivery of her being a woman, and be oversentimental about the era, but praises the acting, special effects and action.

I generally go off Metacritic and it's got 65 from 46 critic reviews. Not always a good idea to look at critic reviews for superhero films though I guess as they may judge on a different criteria than I'm looking for. I find that Metacritic is good in alerting you to absolute rubbish or something really good though.

To be honest I'd be going see Captain Marvel regardless of the reviews anyway as I tend to enjoy the Marvel films even when they aren't so good.
