Last Film You Watched

Oh yeah, makes sense. Any spontaneous applause in your session? At least 4 times people just started clapping and cheering in mine.
Lots in my screening. One particularly funny bit was when they showed Nathalie Portman and literally 1 dude in a massive, sold out IMAX clapped once really loudly and then stopped when no one joined in. Such a weird point to clap at haha

The best part about watching it with a bunch of nerds was the fact that they knew the parts to Applause & the parts to be absolutely silent. The epic moments you could hear a pin drop.

All the proper Marvel nerds went ballistic when Captain America summoned Thor’s hammer. One guy behind me going “I knew it, I knew it”. Not having read the comics I definitely didn’t know it.

Just seen Avengers, got to say I really enjoyed it. Good mix of everything in it. Lots of fan boys watching with cheering and whooping at different scenes. One bloke next to me absolutely sobbing his heart out. A very noisy Cryer!

Just seen Avenagers: End Game. That was absolutely increable, film of the year right there. There will be nothing that comes near the epic scope of that. I've been a harsh critic of Marvel films at times when I felt them lazy, substandard, predictable and pedestrian. This is not one of those films.

It's as close to perfection that you can get from a comics movie. There's possibly one or two things that you could pick up on that were a bit silly but they're frankly so minor that it'd be churlish to moan about them.

Quality film. Can't recommend it highly enough, the three hour runtime flew by.

I'm gonna stay out of this thread till I've seen it myself!!
Maybe it was because I watched it at 11:20pm with a wretched cold- but 7/10
what is the frigging point of her? Disappear at the start, come back to help a little at the end- when you can clearly smack up everyone if you wanted
so he goes back in time, to spend his life with Peggy- she had children and was married otherwise- so they don't then get to be born in that timeline- selfish Cap, selfish..

Yup - fully agree with regards to Captain Marvel. Yeah lets all time travel back and not bring our best hero...

Also - I've not seen any of the series - but apparently Peggys husbands name was never mentioned - so could it be that he was the husband all along?
