Pretty good , took a while to get going.

At this point Marvel/Disney could do anything they wanted and it'd make massive money so it's nothing really to do with her. I just think that Captian Marvel is a terrible choice of character who is jarringly out of sync with the world they've built very well over the last 20 plus film. And the actress they picked to play her is woeful imo, she's got the emotional range of a teaspoon . She just feels totally put of place to me. Thankfully as I said earlier, she was used for the perfect ammount in End Game and wasn't allowed to ruin it.
Guessing you haven't seen Room. The character is the issue here, not the actress.

People didn’t love the first Cap, and by the second one they’d figured it out. Took 2 for Thor.

I always liked Captian America and every one of his solo films. I think it's probably the strongest solo triolgy of the entire franchise. I dont recall ever thinking he was bad at any point.

Thor was fine at first, though his solo films have got steadily worse. His profomance as the character has never been the problem for me, just the writing in his solo films. He's always been written better in the Avengers films imo.

Yeah I do enjoy the Cap films but 1 wasn’t that well received. Ragnarok was Ace.

It wasn't well received because the critics hadn't jumped on the superhero bandwagon yet. They'd be gushing with praise for it if that had been realised today. It was an objectively good movie imo.

We'll have to agree to disagree RE Ragnarok. I hated it. It was just a stright up comedy that made a mockery of the Thor character imo. As I said in the last post he's been written better in the Avengers films imo, were they've had all the comedy but not been held to ransom by it and let Thor have some serious moments while being treated as a creditable character again.
